I live near the lovely little community of Oatmeal, Texas, which is about five miles south or Bertram, which is NW of Austin.
We have some property here and are creating a horse farm and home office for me. We have converted the metal equipment barn into a house. It is well insulated, very comfortable and novel; I have a kitchen "to die for" and it is the ultimate open floor plan!
We have built a wonderful horse barn for our current brood of six horses and ponies. We have also constructed a beautiful covered arena. My goal is to have a home-based adjusting practice, and the covered arena is a great first step to having a weather-proofed area to adjust and watch gait changes.
The next phase of construction will include a covered viewing area, a few stalls, bathroom, and an office for adjusting people.
We hope to host a variety of events in the arena, particularly educational events that promote horse and human health and wellness, and educational workshops that improve horse/human relationships.
